Paula Tomei Talks About Her Long, Satisfying Run at SCR

SCR’s Paula Tomei shares some memories about her 44-Year SCR career in a candid TV interview.


Paula Tomei, South Coast Repertory’s longtime managing director, will soon leave her job. Tomei, 66, has been with Orange County’s most prominent theater company for 44 of its 60 seasons, the last 30 in her present position. She will be succeeded by Suzanne Appel, managing director of New York’s Vineyard Theatre.


Culture OC publisher Paul Hodgins recently talked to Tomei on OC World about her long, eventful career at SCR.
