The Tenth Annual Artist Council Member Exhibition, Inspired, Marks a Decade of Artistic Excellence at the Huntington Beach Art Center.

Inspired 2023 is a testament to the unwavering dedication of the Artist Council members to their craft. It is a remarkable milestone celebrating a decade of creativity, innovation, and artistic development. Since its inception, the Inspired exhibition has captivated art enthusiasts, collectors, and the community at large, showcasing a diverse array of works that speak to the power of inspiration in creativity. The exhibition is set to run from October 21 to December 16, 2023.

With a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of art, these artists have come together to present an exhibition that reflects their individual experiences, influences, and sources of inspiration. Presenting varied mediums such as painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of artistic wonder.

The Inspired exhibition has become an anticipated event in the cultural landscape of Huntington Beach. This special tenth annual edition pays homage to the journey that the exhibition has taken over the years, featuring an extraordinary selection of artworks that highlight the evolution of creativity and expression among our Artist Council members. As artists delve into the theme of inspiration, visitors will engage in a world of imagination, introspection, and artistic exploration.

Key highlights of the exhibition include:

  • Emerging and Established Artists: Inspired has always been a platform that celebrates both emerging talents and established artists, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among diverse artistic voices.

  • Special Events: The Tenth Annual Inspired Exhibition will be accompanied by a series of events, including a public opening reception, artist talks, and our popular Art For Lunch, providing many opportunities for deeper insight into the creative process and the exhibited works.

The Huntington Beach Art Center’s director, Kate Hoffman, shared their excitement, saying, "This tenth edition of Inspired is a testament to the enduring spirit of art and the boundless well of inspiration that artists draw from. It's a celebration of our journey together and a tribute to the artists who have made this exhibition a vibrant tapestry of creativity."

The exhibition will be open to the public from October 21 to December 16 at the Huntington Beach Art Center, located at 538 Main Street in downtown Huntington Beach. Admission is free, and all are welcome to celebrate a decade of artistic excellence. Galleries open Tuesday – Saturday at noon.
