Peter Lefevre is a Southern California-based journalist whose articles have appeared in Voice of OC, The Orange County Register, Opera News, the Los Angeles Business Journal, Symphony magazine and Performing Arts magazine, among others. He has written program notes for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Symphony, Pasadena Symphony, and Peoria Symphony, as well as liner notes for the Urtext record label. His reporting has been honored by the Los Angeles Press Club, the Orange County Press Club, and at the National Arts & Entertainment Journalism awards. He was an NEA arts journalism fellow at Columbia University and studied theater at UCSB and CalArts. Currently, he teaches a course on Wagnerian mythology at California State University, Dominguez Hills, where he is a doctoral candidate in education.
