EDITORS' PICKS

We don't have the resources to write in-depth stories about everything.  Our editors want to share a few more events each week that we think you should know about.  These picks are chosen by them without input from the organizations listed.

Featuring London-born, Los Angeles-based artist Anthony James, this exhibition continues his exploration of geometry, light and the metaphysical, presenting new large-scale works from his Portal Series. Employing stainless steel, glass and LED technology, James' works are immersive and experiential, challenging perceptions of space, materiality, and the infinite. Opens Feb. 13 at Gallery Sonder, 3435 E Coast Hwy. Newport Beach.

Over the next month, Electric Company Theatre will present "Red Rabbit White Rabbit" in The Muck Gallery. This unique theatrical experience will feature no rehearsals, not director, no set, and a different actor reads the script cold for the first time at each performance. Performances at 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings Feb. 10 - March 5 at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center, 1201 N Malvern Ave. Fullerton.

Every week, Marina goes to her local fish store, buys a catfish and makes soup. This week, her usual fishmonger has disappeared. But does this mystery hint at pain and suffering, or could it be an impetus for new experiences? A new-play reading from Chance Theater's On The Radar (OTR) New Works Program. 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12.
