We don't have the resources to write in-depth stories about everything.  Our editors want to share a few more events each week that we think you should know about.  These picks are chosen by them without input from the organizations listed. 

This year's festival will be headlined by Jake Owen and includes performances from Jerrod Niemann and Raelynn. The event will feature food vendors, a country market, line dancing, live entertainment, a big selection of ice-cold beers and more. 5-10 p.m. April 11 at Great Park Live in Irvine.

After attracting national attention as a contestant on the CBS reality television show "Rock Star: Supernova," Large has made a career singing her own unique take on the Great American Songbook, Broadway tear-jerkers, rock goddess anthems, and some of her own gorgeous originals. She's accompanied by her band, Le Bonheur. 8 p.m. April 10 at Irvine Barclay Theatre.

This immersive musical experience that brings Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece to life. Presented live, it depicts the emotional journey of Jesus and his twelve disciples during their final meal together. 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. April 9 at the Rose Center Theater in Westminster.
