We don't have the resources to write in-depth stories about everything.  Our editors want to share a few more events each week that we think you should know about.  These picks are chosen by them without input from the organizations listed. 

Mission San Juan Capistrano presents its annual Earth Day Celebration on Tuesday. You can learn about the planet we call home as you take in the beauty of the Mission’s gardens. Explore the lives of bees and sample honey, learn about the significance of the acorn and participate with your kids in craft activities. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 22 at Mission San Juan Capistrano.

Hiromi is a Grammy-winning jazz pianist and composer. Her new project, “Sonicwonder,” is an electrified 4-piece band with a heavy groove, featuring Adam O'Farrill on trumpet, Hadrien Feraud on bass, and Gene Coye on drums. 8 p.m. April 25 at Irvine Barclay Thearre.

The latest crawl features the work of Dan Schonberg, Jessica Chong, Valeria, Cortland McCullum, Wildflyme Photography, as well as vendors and artisans on-site: Zada Jewelry, Skull Cap and Genevieve Dahms. Music will be pereformed by The Sea Monks, Randall Winvick Band and The Clock-Outs. 4-7 p.m. April 24.
