CULTURE CLUB PRESENTS: PACIFIC JAZZ ORCHESTRA

Join Culture OC music writer Peter Lefevre and another special guest at an evening with the Pacific Jazz Orchestra. This experience will include drinks on the plaza before the performance, free tickets to the concert, and a meet and greet with the musicians after the performance. Donors giving $100 (or $10 monthly) will receive priority on the waitlist.

We don't have the resources to write in-depth stories about everything.  Our editors want to share a few more events each week that we think you should know about.  These picks are chosen by them without input from the organizations listed. 

Learn about Leo Fender, the guitarmaker who made Fullerton a rock 'n' roll Mecca.  The exhibit includes a map of Fender landmarks around Fullerton as well as photos, videos, mementos and testimonials by Fullertonians. Through Decembrer 31 at Fullerton Museum Center

This popular show includes nine original-concept drawings, paintings and storyboards that were created for Disney’s "The Nightmare Before Christmas," released in 1993. The show also features original production sketches by famed animator Jorgen Klubien and oil-pastel concept drawings curated from The Hilbert Museum’s vast collection of Disney animation and movie art. Through January 2 at the Hilbert Museum.

Marty McFly's wild time-travel adventures were transformed from a hugely successful movie into a musical that won a 2022 Olivier Award, directed by the Tony Award winner John Rando. Through January 5 at Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
