The Mariachi Plaza Festival Foundation has has teamed with the Diocese of Orange to present the world-renowned Mariachi Sol de Mexico, accompanied by the distinguished Sinfonica de Las Americas, offering a unique blend of traditional Mariachi and classical Christmas music. 7 p.m. December 26.
Kwanzaa, a week-long celebration honoring African heritage and culture, is observed from December 26 to January 1. Each day of Kwaanza focuses on one of seven principles: unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Decemberr 27 at Pretend City Children's Museum at Pretend City Children's Museum, Irvine.
