EDITORS' PICKS

We don't have the resources to write in-depth stories about everything.  Our editors want to share a few more events each week that we think you should know about.  These picks are chosen by them without input from the organizations listed.

In collaboration with the Southern California Chapters of the American Guild of Organists, Christ Cathedral will present a marathon presentation all of J.S. Bach's 11 volumes of works for organ. Organists from throughout Southern California will play. The free concert begins at 6 a.m. on Monday, March 3 and is scheduled to end at 1 a.m. on March 4.

Anna Marie Fitzgerald's play, set in a laundromat in rural America, explores the pent-up rage of young motherhood, workplace misogyny, and uncertainties about marriage. Through March 15 at UC Irvine's Claire Trevor Theatre.

For the last 40 years, artist Minna Chow, a resident of Irvine, has been creating brush paintings in the traditional Chinese style, one of the oldest artistic traditions in the world. Some of them are on display at Irvine City Hall, which is open to the public 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday. The exhibit and parking are free. Through March 21.
